For all of you who love to live life comfortably, I am going to give you some of my favorite clothing options for being comfy in college. The amazing thing about dressing comfy is that you can dress it up or dress it down. Most days I try to look semi decent, but on the days that all I'm going to be doing is laying around in my room, I throw fashion to the wind and I focus on comfort. This means not caring about the fact that I am wearing a groutfit, or that I have no makeup on. The amazing thing about college is that you can look as amazing as you want or you could not have a care in the world about what someone thinks about your outfit.

Personally, in the summer my comfy clothes consist of running shorts, and a tshirt. Not only is this comfy, but it’s also versatile so if I decide to go workout all I have to do is throw on a pair of gym shoes and I’m good to go. In the fall it’s nice because you have many options based on what the weather is. Even though it is nice to have a lot of options, it can be hard to know how many layers you are going to need throughout the day. My best recommendation is to carry a sweatshirt or jacket with you. Even if it isn't cold outside, you might want to bring a jacket for your classes because if they are anything like mine, they can get pretty chilly. Fall is also a good time to break out some of your cropped leggings and lighter joggers. Based on how cool it is you can pair this with a t-shirt, long-sleeve, sweatshirt/noodie, and you can even top it off with a vest. If you don’t know what a noodie is, it’s a sweatshirt that does not have a hood, thus the name noodie came to be. You can dress up your look with a green army jacket, a jean jacket, or a cute cardigan.

The best time to wear all those college sweatshirts that you have is in the fall. You can show off school spirit for the school you are attending, and maybe even some that you considered going to. When I first got to college I was afraid to wear school gear that was for a school other than the one that I was attending, but I soon came to realize that no one really cares what you wear. The only reason that people comment on your fashion choices 99% of the time is to compliment what you are wearing. I have a lot of Ball State gear that I wear, but I also throw in a Penn state, and Butler university sweatshirt from time to time. Nothing pairs better with a comfy outfit than your hair up in a bun, and your favorite comfy shoes on. My favorite shoes for when I'm dressing comfy in the fall would be my gym shoes, or my Chacos in the warmer weather.
Overall, just dress however you want to dress. Don’t worry about someone judging you for looking “sloppy” because odds are the only reason people are looking at you is because they are jealous of how comfy you look.
